About Us
Delta Tau Delta Fraternity was founded in 1858 at Bethany College in present day West Virginia. Delta Tau Delta was born of the knowledge that integrity is essential and the founding principles of Truth, Courage, Faith and Power have provided a guide for both the Fraternity and its membership. Since 1858 the Fraternity has spread to nearly 200 campuses with over 120 active chapters and colonies comprised of about 6,500 undergraduate members. For over 150 years, Delta Tau Delta has in excess of 150,000 men who have become members of the Fraternity.

Iota Beta Chapter
The Iota Beta Chapter was founded at Wittenberg University on April 1st, 2000.
Since then, Iota Beta has become one of the leading fraternities on campus. With more than 45 active Brothers, making Iota Beta the largest fraternity on campus, Wittenberg Delts have representation in almost every major group on campus. Wittenberg Delts pride themselves in their leadership ability and campus wide involvement.
The following are just a few examples:
  • Student Senate leadership, including 4 straight years of Presidents
  • The Wittmen Crew
  • Choir
  • Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, including President for the past 4 years
  • Dean's List Honorees
  • Swim and Dive Team; team captains and multiple All NCAC athletes

  • Ice Hockey, including team captains and founding members

  • Rugby
  • Golf
  • Football
  • Sailing, including team captains
  • and many, many more student groups, honor societies and clubs.

    Philanthropy
    Nationally, Delts are committed to helping youth through the Adopt-A-School program. However, Iota Beta does not stop there. We are committed to constantly giving back and do so in many fun and exciting ways. Please read our philanthropy page for more information.
